District Agricultural Extension Services System (DAESS) is a decentralized extension system that seeks to enhance collaboration and coordination of service providers in agricultural extension and advisory services in order to promote harmonization and integration in service provision
The DAESS operationalizes implementation of the Agricultural Extension Policy which advocates for pluralistic and demand driven extension services
It promotes quality interaction of actors for collective visioning, planning and implementation of interventions.
DAESS empowers farmers and other clientele to access high quality extension services from those that are best able to provide them
DAESS is a mechanism for enabling farmers to identify and organize their agricultural felt needs for appropriate action by relevant stakeholders
